What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform this new, that range is solid.

The Software

Available: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That will round things out when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.

Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

This is the thing that matters. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that is worth it comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.
