TabTrade Review - The Good and the Catch

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

This is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform run a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.

Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

Regulation

Now, the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. It should factor into your decision.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.

The complete breakdown, including regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and tabtrade the bonus terms, is website at TradeTheDay.
